Clinical Interests:

  • Cardiology (Heart)
  • Interventional Cardiology

Board Certifications:

  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Internal Medicine

Research Interests:

  • Non-Invasive methods of assessing vascular endothelial function so that we can better stratify high risk coronary artery disease patients.
  • Structural and functional studies of atherosclerosis in transplant coronary artery disease patients in order to define the relationship between the two.
  • Intravascular ultrasound studies to define the time-course in the devlopment of transplant coronary disease.
  • Development of novel techniques to deliver drug imbedded particles into the atherosclerotic wall.
  • Study the restenosis process in a vivo pig model.
