The Consultative Cardiology Program at Stanford provides an integrative approach to the diagnostic evaluation of the cardiovascular system and to the formulation of short- and long-term therapeutic strategies for these patients. This program is led by Stanley Rockson, M.D.
Program for Atherosclerosis and Cardiovascular Therapies -- PACT Program is designed for people who have a history of heart disease, are at risk for heart disease or simply want to know their risk for future cardiovascular events. The services available include:
Cardiovascular Consultation is available throughout Stanford University hospitals and clinics. Pre- and peri-operative evaluation, second opinion consultation, risk-stratification of pre-existing cardiovascular conditions, integration of multiple or complex therapeutic regimens, and evaluation for possible surgical or catheter-based interventions, and long-term cardiovascular follow-up care are provided by the Consultative Cardiology Service in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.
